This training course is brought to you by the British Records Association, and is delivered by the team below. The course was originally developed in 1991 by Margaret Crockett and Janet Foster. As qualified archivists and records managers, they drew on extensive experience gained from working with a wide range of clients across the UK and internationally. Since its inception, the course is regularly revised and developed to ensure it remains relevant and responsive to the evolving needs of the museum, library, and archives workforce. Delivered to thousands of participants, it continues to be consistently fully booked. Many organisations incorporate it into their induction and professional development programmes, routinely enrolling new staff as part of their training.
